Yutaka Kurosu founded Ksquwave Inc. and he has been chief executive officer since he started the IT management counseling services in February 2003.
Kurosu was the youngest and most popular research director at Gartner Japan until February 2003. He received more than 100 on-site briefing requests from customers every year.
Kurosu began his professional career as AI engineer at Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd. in 1986 and he invented the remote diagnostic expert system for copiers in Japan (patented: #2959251, #3090517, #3114309 and #2789903). He was promoted a corporate IT strategist in 1990 and he designed the first CRM model between Fuji Xerox and its customers.

Born in Tokyo, Japan in 1962, Kurosu received a Bachelor of Commerce from Meiji University in 1986 and a Master of Science in Management with a certificate of Information Technology & Business Transformation management track from the Sloan School of Management at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 1998. During the same period when he went to MIT, he received 16 credit units of Psychology from the graduate school at Harvard University. He also received full credit units of the Doctorate program in Extensive System from the University of Tokyo in 2004.

Kurosu is a member of Educational Council at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a member of the Book Reviewers of Toyo Keizai Inc. He has served as lecturer at universities such as the University of Tokyo, Meiji University and Tokyo Metropolitan College. Also he has served as Executive IT Budget Auditor at Ministry of Finance, Japan, Executive Advisor for CIO at Japan Housing Finance Agency and Japan External Trade Organization,Executive Advisor for CISO at Japan External Trade Organization and an AI&IoT Policy Advisor at Ehime Prefectural Government.

Kurosu holds both CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) and CISM (Certified Information Security Manager).
